This week on Vetting America, we are proud and excited to share the journey of Lt. Col and Green Beret, Scott Mann.

As a Green Beret in the United States Army, Scott forged bonds and solved problems using values that moved people around the world to stand up for themselves. Through the techniques that he currently teaches, Scott was able to restore trust and create human connections in places where that didn’t seem possible.

Green Berets are a combination of Jason Bourne, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Verizon guy, they are relationship based connectors who happen to be lethal.

Like all of us, Scott was no stranger to failure. As a Military Special Operations Officer forward deployed to Afghanistan, using those failures as a foundation for building resiliency is where Scott thrived.

At an emotional level, where I had to dig deep, it was how I had dealt with that failure all those years ago when I thought I was going to be kicked out of the course.

Scott shares his story of service, sacrifice, transition, and transformation and the 3 key tools he recommends for those currently in transition.

“WITHIN 48 HOURS OF TAKING OFF THOSE DESERT BOOTS AND PUTTING ON THE TAMPA BAY FLIP FLOS, THE SNAKES IN MY HEAD STARTED SQUIRMING. I FELT LIKE I WAS ON A DIFFERENT PLANET, EVERYTHING SHIFTED.”

And hear about all the powerful way Scott is giving a voice to military families and military kids through the national play, Last Out: Elegy of a Green Beret.

Our military kids are an unspoken voice.
